Discussion

Our Chairman (or Chairperson!) Val hosts  a discussion group and up to a dozen members have met over the last year to, as she says, discuss any and everything! At this meeting they each choose a topic, put them into the hat, and one or two are selected for discussion at that meeting.

Of course, it is all aided by the cup of tea!

She says that the afternoons are relaxed, informative and fun. (How much more fun though if we could slip the odd rogue subject into the hat without them knowing!)

Recently they decided to take part in a public science discussion pack  and found it to be interesting and far reaching.
