The last meeting saw us visit the Records office in Chichester and what an interesting time we all had.

The old maps were particularly fascinating and got many of us thinking we would like to research the history of our own houses.

Although the records themselves may not be relevant to all of us the principle of how the record offices work holds true for record offices wherever they are.

So those of us who need to go to other parts of the country to trace records have more confidence to do that.

We shall be giving a small talk on a particular package which many of us are using at the AGM. For two of us this has brought quite exciting revelations – but I’ll say no more!
